The Development Management Team Manager role for Enforcement and Conservation will work closely with the Assistant Director for Planning, Deputy Head of Planning and other Development Management Team Leaders in the effective and efficient delivery of the conservation, enforcement and wider planning functions.

You will be responsible for delivering an effective and efficient planning enforcement service, listed building applications, pre application and application conservation and heritage advice. This role will also include presenting items to the Planning Committees, Cabinet, external meetings and acting as the Council witness in Hearings and Public Inquiries. You will be supported by a Principal Enforcement Officer and Principal Conservation Officer, there are 3 Conservation officers and 4 Planning Enforcement Officers in total in your team.

If you are a qualified Planner with significant experience in Development Management, including Enforcement and Conservation matters and bring up to date and extensive knowledge of planning legislation, planning law, national planning policies and local and neighbourhood planning then we want to hear from you.
