This is a fantastic time to join an ambitious and forward-thinking organisation in a place with centuries old connections to the crown.  The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead consists of towns and villages that are strategically located in the heart of the Thames Valley on the M4 corridor, connected to both the GWR and Elizabeth Line.  It is undoubtedly an exciting place to work and with a new Chief Executive and a strong leadership team in place, presents an opportunity to enhance and develop, both the Royal Borough and your personal career.

We currently have an opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our Tree Team as Arboricultural Inspector and to manage and protect the Borough’s tree stock. Reporting into our Aboricultural Coordinator, you will have responsibility for undertaking proactive inspections of the Borough’s tree stock, ensuring compliance with legal obligations, and supporting us to achieve our service objectives within the framework of the Tree and Woodland Strategy. As part of this role, you will also provide arboricultural advice to Highways, Parks and Countryside, Residents, Councillors, and other internal service units.

If you are a qualified arboriculture professional, hold the Professional Tree Inspection (LANTRA) and bring a good working knowledge of all legal requirements and best practice relating to tree management, then we want to hear from you.
