We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Corporate Director for Resources to lead and inspire our teams towards achieving our ambitious vision and goals. As a crucial member of our Corporate Leadership Team, you will provide strategic and professional advice, support the Chief Executive, and contribute to the development and execution of the Council's strategic plans.
You will oversee the Directors of Assets, ICT, Finance and Procurement, HR&OD, Business Transformation, and other related services and collaborate closely with the Chief Executive, Cabinet, and Lead Members. You will drive and implement strategic budget management and medium-term financial strategies and lead initiatives to ensure efficient and cost-effective resource services.
It will be important for you to establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and partners to deliver on strategic priorities and provide guidance and support to Members, ensuring professional and timely advice.
You will represent Wiltshire Council at national, regional, and local levels and develop and deliver corporate strategies to meet the needs of local residents and support community leadership.
