We are looking for an inspiring and committed Corporate Director for Children and Education to lead our teams towards realising our vision and ambitions. As a key member of our Corporate Leadership Team, you will offer professional and statutory advice, support the Chief Executive, and play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of the Council's strategic plans.

You will oversee the Directors of Education and Skills, Families and Children, and other related services and provide support and coaching as well as fostering leadership behaviours.

You will serve as the Council's statutory Director of Children’s Services, ensuring accountability and leadership in improving outcomes for all children. You will develop and execute strategies for efficient and cost-effective Children and Education Services and establish a vision and forward plan for the Council’s Children and Education Services as part of our transformation journey.

You will represent Wiltshire Council at national, regional, and local levels and develop and deliver corporate strategies to meet the needs of local residents and support community leadership.
