Head of Operational Services
South Derbyshire District Council is seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Head of Operational Services to lead some of its most visible and valued frontline services. This is a high-profile opportunity to shape the future of refuse collection, recycling, street cleansing, grounds maintenance and fleet services, ensuring they are efficient, sustainable and responsive to the needs of residents and communities.
Working as part of the Directorate’s Senior Management Team, you will help deliver the Council’s strategic ambitions, drive service improvement and promote environmental sustainability across the district. You will bring strong leadership, sound financial judgement and the ability to work confidently with elected members, partners, communities and colleagues to achieve excellent outcomes.
