As a member of the of the Senior Leadership Team, accountable to the Chief Executive, you will drive corporate ownership, be ambitious for the future, and shape the design and delivery of leading-edge services and strategies to ensure the council is the best it can be and provides a great place for people to live, work and visit.
As part of this broad and strategically important leadership role, you will have responsibility for key services including customer delivery; property and assets; finance; revenues and benefits; ICT; digital services; transformation; HR and OD; procurement; and legal and governance matters
You will bring strong political and financial acuity, alongside experience of working collaboratively at a corporate level and effectively with key external stakeholders and partners. You will need to be a curious, courageous, inspired and talented leader who enjoys challenge, can lead with energy, vision and people skills, and who can thrive within a complex and uncertain environment.
