Mission Waltham Forest is our call to action, and this Corporate Director role places you right at the heart of mission control.
We’re seeking an outstanding senior leader to shape the future of community safety in Waltham Forest. As our new Corporate Director of Community Safety and Public Protection, you will play a pivotal role in delivering our mission to create safe, confident neighbourhoods and to improve the lived experience of every resident. Community resilience, fear of crime, and anti-social behaviour are consistently among the top priorities for our residents and political leadership. This new role brings together a wide portfolio of statutory and discretionary services to form a unified, high-performing directorate dedicated to public protection including Anti-social behaviour and Community Safety, Emergency Planning & Resilience and Licensing and Trading Standards.

Your leadership will ensure the borough makes full and effective use of its powers to protect residents and support thriving neighbourhoods.
If you’re passionate about delivering Mission Waltham Forest and want to play a leading role in shaping safe and thriving neighbourhoods, we’d love to hear from you.
