Our Neighbourhoods and Environment Directorate is at such a pivotal and energising moment in our journey, and the roles offer an exciting opportunity to join a thriving directorate with a number of key services including community safety, enforcement, regulatory services, highways and public realm, who are working alongside our residents, businesses and partners to deliver our missions - making change happen together. 

If you apply for one of our Corporate Director roles, you will be taking on the opportunity to play a defining leadership role in one of London’s most forward looking, mission driven councils. 

These Corporate Director posts - each leading a major portfolio with significant visibility, impact, and strategic influence - sit at the heart of our mission to create safe, green, and well-connected neighbourhoods where everyone can thrive. Both roles require leaders who can balance strategic vision with operational delivery, inspire high performing teams, and navigate a complex, dynamic environment with confidence and integrity. 

Across both roles, we are looking for collaborative, confident, inclusive leaders - people who can inspire high performing teams, navigate complexity with integrity and clarity, and bring fresh ideas to the table. You will work closely with Members, partners, and colleagues across the Council to shape the borough’s future. In turn, you will join a senior team that is ambitious, supportive, and united by a shared mission to deliver positive change.
