Fast forward to the present and those historical traits are embedded within the modern culture of Dudley and the borough is a vibrant, multi-cultural hub with strong communities, beautiful parks and open spaces and a mix of shops and restaurants.

Currently at the heart of a multi-million-pound regeneration plan, there is significant investment in the borough with several key projects including the new Midland Metro infrastructure, a new Institute of Technology and a very light rail innovation centre.

This is an exciting opportunity as a Director of Environment to transform the way Dudley works to meet the changing needs of their residents and businesses. You will have a successful record of achievement at a senior level in delivering a portfolio of highly visible, frontline services, developing strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders and using your influencing and persuasive skills to foster joint initiatives.
