Reporting to the Director of Economy and Infrastructure, this role will manage four Heads of Service and a Group Manager:

Candidates should have extensive practical experience of leading the Environmental and Highway Services portfolio (including waste), be highly skilled at procuring and managing major and complex contracts, and have a passion for environmental sustainability. Excellent partnership working is a must, and we're looking for an experienced and credible leader for this important and highly scrutinised service. A strong and inspiring leader, and an effective practical and strategic contributor to the directorate leadership team, you'll rapidly become indispensable.
