An incredible, new opportunity has been created for someone to join the senior leadership team in Adult Care and Community Wellbeing at Lincolnshire County Council, as Deputy Director of Adult Social Services.
This is a newly created role with a new and unique operational mandate, that will see the post holder take responsibility for all operational social care teams within the organisation, with aim to drive for continuous improvement, turning GOOD (CQC Rating 2023) in to OUTSTANDING.
Sitting comfortably within current best practice this wholly operational focused role will see the post holder design and flex the service to ensure it meets the current and future needs of the residents of Lincolnshire.
Our Executive Director and service provision have a strong reputation in the field. This coupled with our results in achieving more but spending less, with excellent outcomes for our residents while at the same time achieving a balanced budget in each of the past 10 years, is the legacy the newly appointed postholder will take forwards to the future.
Some of the key reasons for our success have been the longstanding close strategic partnerships within the Council and with partner organisations, a strong preventative offer and a clear commissioning model for social care. We're proud of the extent of the integrated working we've achieved between health and social care partners, which currently includes a pooled budget in excess of £260m and we need someone who can continue to nurture these partnerships whilst looking for further opportunities to develop more.
As a large and ambitious service, we are focused on enabling people to secure the best possible outcomes in their lives, building resilience, maximising independence and helping them stay connected to their chosen communities. You (and we with you) will only achieve this by working alongside strategic partners, people who draw on care and support, carers and our County Councillors. You will be a bridge-builder, acting as a role model to those around you.
There is huge opportunity for someone with vision, expertise, and commitment to join a strong team here in Lincolnshire County Council. If that sounds like you, we look forward to hearing from you.
