"Trust yourself deeply and be proud of who you are"

Tiffany Adonis-French, Service Director Adult Social Care Operations at Buckinghamshire Council, tells us the lessons she would tell her younger self.
I would tell my younger self to trust yourself deeply, be proud of who you are, and bring your own seat to the table. Never dim your light to make others feel comfortable, and don’t allow anyone else’s perceptions to place limits on who you are or what you can achieve. Listen to your intuition, trust in your instincts, and believe in your abilities even when the path ahead feels uncertain.
Surround yourself with positive people and focus on being who you want to be, not what you think others want you to be. Set goals and grow without limitations, push boundaries, and open the doors on rooms you don’t believe you should be in. Your education is powerful so use this time well, study hard, stay curious, and give yourself every opportunity to excel. Most importantly, be your authentic self.
