As Chief Operating Officer, you will convert strategic intent into measurable results. You will empower expert leaders and multidisciplinary teams and scale innovation where it is practical and valuable. You will bring clarity to priorities, momentum to delivery and discipline to the way we work. You will champion simple, reliable services, strengthen resilience and cyber readiness, and apply modern delivery methods and data insight, positioning AI and automation as tools that make services smarter and more human.
This role sits at the heart of regional collaboration. You will balance perspectives across multiple authorities and partners, align governance with pace and build co‑ownership around clear goals. You will nurture a high‑trust culture, curiosity, learning and inclusion where people thrive, share knowledge and feel proud of what they achieve together.
