Service Director Integrated Commissioning

Location: Plymouth

Salary: £82,949 - £115,330

Reference: A000518

Status:

Plymouth is Britain’s Ocean City. It’s our ambition to become one of the most vibrant waterfront cities in Europe, where an outstanding quality of life is enjoyed by everyone. We want to be a healthy city, whose people live in happy, healthy, safe and aspiring communities, where social, economic and environmental conditions and services enable choices that add quality years to life and reduce the gap in health and wellbeing between communities. We’ve got great partnerships and leadership in place across the system, and we firmly believe we can achieve our ambitious vision.

The Service Director will be a highly regarded professional, able to work effectively across a complex and multi-disciplinary context. We’ve pioneered a number of courageous firsts in recent years, but there’s still more to do; so experience of commissioning children’s and adults’ social care, as well as housing and public health, would be a distinct advantage.
