Thank you for your interest in joining Shropshire Council. We currently have six open vacancies for senior leaders, all of which you can find out more about across this microsite.

Over recent months, we’ve moved from announcing a financial emergency into a period of recovery with both pace and energy. We’re stabilising the Council’s finances, strengthening governance, and making real progress through our Improvement Plan. Our absolute commitment to our staff is laid out in our People Plan, and we’ve started to deliver the culture change needed. We now have a clear Corporate
Plan, giving us a stronger foundation, and a shared sense of direction and the transformation journey we’re on.

These mission-critical roles are perfect for bold, values-driven leaders of place.
