Faerfield are delighted to be working with a local authority to recruit an Interim Strategic Lead - Employment & Skills.

The assignment will centre on developing a clear strategic skills plan, establishing commissioning readiness for devolved adult skills funding, and coordinating employment support activity across the system. The successful candidate will bring strong experience in adult skills policy, commissioning or delivery, alongside a proven ability to lead multi-stakeholder programmes in politically sensitive environments. A collaborative, system leadership approach will be critical in building effective partnerships, shaping a pipeline of interventions, and setting the foundation for future delivery models and governance arrangements.
