Faerfield are working with a Local Authority who urgently require an experienced senior finance leader with S151 experience. This key statutory role will work closely with the Chief Executive, Corporate Leadership Team and Chief Operating Officer to lead the finance function and shape the Council’s future operating model. You will oversee a directorate of c.175 FTEs across financial accounting, planning, treasury, revenues and benefits, leading the Medium‑Term Financial Plan and ensuring robust governance.

The role is offered with hybrid working, with 2-3 days a week in the office and on a day rate commensurate with experience.
