Reporting to the DCS, the interim leader will provide strategic oversight of the corporate parenting services and drive improved outcomes for children in care, care leavers and vulnerable young people.

Leading a broad portfolio across social care, early help and provider services, you will ensure statutory responsibilities are met, performance is strengthened and children remain at the heart of decision making.

Working collaboratively with partners across education, health and the wider system, you will champion high-quality practice, challenge underperformance and lead sustainable improvement.

This role requires a credible, visible leader with a demonstrable track record of delivering positive change for children and families.
