Faerfield is recruiting an experienced Interim Deputy Head of HR to provide leadership of a team of 6, including HR Advisors and additional capacity within a busy local authority HR function for a period of up to 18 months.

Candidates should have experience of leading HR teams delivering core HR operational activity and in particular managing Employee and Industrial Relations, Trade Unions, ER casework, Policy Development and managing and supporting more junior members of an HR team who provide frontline HR advice.

Ideally applicants will have experience gained within a local government setting, but consideration will be given to those with wider public sector experience.

The position is also offered on a Fixed Term Contract should candidates prefer.
